Shortage Of Cloth In Pakistan Increases Exporters' Suffering

Pakistan

The blackout, coupled with the rise in natural gas prices, has led to a shortage of cloth in Pakistan's case, and the garment manufacturers and textile exporters are in a dilemma as they try to reach their shipments.

The fabric price rose by 3 yuan to 5 yuan per meter (about 0.04-0.07 dollars).

In July, the FCCI launched a 5 day strike to protest against the increase in the cost of natural gas and electricity and to cancel 6% of R & D subsidies at the end of the year.

After a shortage of strikes, exporters consider their shortage to be an artificial operation caused by the textile group involved in the black market of textile raw materials.
