Today, Jingdong supermarket and WAL-MART jointly organized the 2019 all channel "8.8 Shopping Festival" officially started. This year is the third year of the "8.8 Shopping Festival". Jingdong supermarket and WAL-MART have brought online and offline full shopping experience to customers through collecting more than 100 brands at home and abroad and issuing about 20000000 coupons.

Full channel and multi scene fusion
It is understood that this year's "8.8 Shopping Festival", the two sides focus on scene fusion and precise touch. Shopping Festival covers more than 170 cities nationwide and more than 400 WAL-MART entities stores, of which more than 290 stores have launched a small program "WAL-MART home". At the same time, "8.8 Shopping Festival" also covers online WAL-MART Jingdong flagship store and the national WAL-MART Jingdong home platform.

In terms of category, from July 18th to August 14th, the core category featured promotions such as food, household, fresh, daily necessities, mother and baby were continuously launched, and some high demand and high-end products were refined, such as "degradable garbage bags" and "classified trash cans" which cater to the current garbage classification hotspots. In terms of brands, there were more than 100 quality brands at home and abroad, including brands such as Erie, Procter & Gamble, Mead Johnson, and Elta MD, ANESSA, Bose and other net red brands.
Moreover, the "8.8 Shopping Festival" has attracted more than ten fresh food brand merchants including Shuanghui, Tyson and Zhengda for the first time, providing consumers with more than 600 kinds of fresh produce to meet the online consumer demand. In addition, WAL-MART's own brand overseas flagship store has joined the "8.8 Shopping Festival" for the first time. WAL-MART's overseas private brand goods including Spring Valley, Equate and Great Value will be directly introduced into the domestic consumer market through WAL-MART's own brand overseas flagship store on Jingdong platform.

It is reported that this year's "8.8 Shopping Festival" also has the characteristics of more feedback, more convenience and new play. In order to further enhance user experience, Jingdong supermarket and WAL-MART jointly prepared about 20000000 coupons for consumers in this shopping festival. Consumers are able to pick up a variety of full discount coupons in more than 170 cities and over 400 WAL-MART lines by scanning the two-dimensional code. They are used in WAL-MART's home applet and WAL-MART official flagship store on Jingdong platform and WAL-MART Jingdong home platform.
During the "8.8 Shopping Festival", Jingdong's home platform also launched a special activity of "30 days VIP WAL-MART exclusive rights package". Users pay 11 yuan to open Jingdong 30 days after the exclusive business VIP, WAL-MART can enjoy Jingdong free tickets / superimposed vouchers / points and other preferential activities.
