According to Chen Jianshe, chairman of Wenzhou zipper chamber and chairman of Zhejiang zipper Co., Ltd., in September last year, the overall price of Fujian zippers was even lower than that of Wenzhou.

Before that, the zipper industry grades and prices in Wenzhou were lower than those in Fujian, so the price war in Fujian zipper industry was fierce.

After careful consideration, the zipper sub committee quickly put the revised standards on the agenda.

And this heavy responsibility falls on the industry leader headed by Fujian Xun Xing zipper Polytron Technologies Inc.

Last October, after approval by the national standards committee, Xun Xing was allowed to set up a national zipper Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "bid committee").

Subsequently, the Bid Committee began collecting technical committees nationwide.

Yiwu introduces the first local standard of zipper industry

In August 2009, the Yiwu zipper industry alliance standard was first approved and implemented in zipper enterprises in Yiwu.

The relevant experts of the zipper branch of the National Hardware Association believe that the Yiwu zipper Union standard has integrated the three original standards of the country, making it more convenient to use, and the standard layout is more reasonable.

According to the introduction, the Yiwu zipper Union standard adopted the German DIN zipper standard, the BS zipper standard and other advanced indicators and requirements of the zipper standards in various countries and regions. The environmental protection, ecology and safety were the focus of the standard setting, and the more prevailing European environmental protection and hygiene certification standards were included in the standard.

The head of Yiwu zipper trade association indicated that in the newly established Yiwu zipper Union standard, the problems such as zipper size and other vague problems have been solved, and the new standard has set up a complete database for this purpose.
