Hebei Has Identified Jinzhou As The Base For Textile And Garment Export.

In September 27th, Jinzhou, Hebei, was recognized by the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce, the finance department, the Shijiazhuang customs and the provincial entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau as the "Hebei textile and clothing (Jinzhou) export base", and became the only county in Shijiazhuang area under the provincial export base.

The textile and garment industry in Jinzhou has been developing since 80s. In recent years, it has been growing rapidly under the guidance of a series of policies for promoting development of the municipal government, and has become a dominant industry in the province.

There are more than 1200 textile and garment enterprises, 60 thousand employees, 2 million 200 thousand spindles and 27 thousand looms. The products involve cotton yarn, white cloth, bleaching and dyeing cloth.

According to customs statistics, the earned value of textile and clothing export in the city was $53 million 480 thousand in 2008 and $88 million 700 thousand in 2009, showing a good momentum of rapid growth.

In accordance with the relevant regulations of the provincial government, Hebei's provincial export bases and enterprises will further strengthen their support. In accordance with the principle of "bundling" and decentralization of policies, the "five priorities" should be implemented: priority should be given to the registration of foreign trade operators and the printing authority of export licenses; priority should be given to import and export quotas and business qualifications of important commodities; priority should be given to various national and provincial trade promotion funds; priority should be given to exhibitions such as Canton Fair and China Fair, and priority should be given to the development of online international trade.
