India Cotton Export


India, the world's second largest cotton producer and exporter, will restart its cotton export registration next week.

In the 2010-11 cotton season, India will still be allowed to export 2 million 500 thousand bales of cotton, though in December 15th.

Final

The export deadline has arrived, trade minister Anand Sharma said on Tuesday.


In fiscal year 2010-11, India may produce 32 million 500 thousand bales of cotton.

Last year

The output of cotton is 29 million 500 thousand packs, India industrial and government officials said.
