Taiwan Textile Development Association celebrated its 36th anniversary and published a new book "The Prosperity and Style of Taiwan's Textile Industry in the Centennial of the Founding of the People's Republic of China". Vice President Xiao, Minister of Economy Shi Yanxiang, former Minister of Economy Chen Ruilong, and more than 100 people from the textile industry were invited to celebrate together.

At that time, in order to promote the unity of the textile industry, assist the textile industry in striving for export quotas, and at the same time, for the future transformation of the textile industry Trade Bureau assistance Plan to set up a textile expansion meeting.

He was the seniors he admired very much. He participated in negotiations on behalf of Taiwan's textile industry, and never took any advantage of his own factory. Everything was for Taiwan's textile industry and won high recognition.

The Vice President said that in response to international changes, Taiwan's textile industry has gone through a hard journey. In recent years, it has made a good transformation. It has not only continued to create foreign exchange, but also created a good international image. The textile industry is not a sunset industry, unless everyone does not wear clothes, and only needs to be more innovative and change in the future to keep up with the trend. I hope that on the platform of the textile development conference, the textile industry will further develop, Let the future century develop better.

Shi Yanxiang also believes that the 36th anniversary is 6 times 6, which symbolizes the Six Six Great Prosperity; Taiwan textile industry jointly created 8.4 billion US dollars last year; In the future, the textile industry will develop in three directions: ready to wear, household use, and industrial use. Industrial textiles will have greater added value only if they account for more. In the future, the overall output value will reach NT $600 billion in 2020.

Shi Yanxiang said that with the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the United States and South Korea, Taiwan's textile industry should not only continue to negotiate with the mainland on ECFA follow-up opening projects, but also actively participate in regional economic organizations. Therefore, the textile industry is not a sunset industry, only depends on whether they are hard enough.
