In the Caidian District of Wuhan, the Yao Jiashan Textile Industrial Park has 86 textile enterprises, with an annual output value of 460 million yuan.

The town of Suo town in Caidian District enjoys the reputation of "the hometown of labor insurance". The town has a certain scale of 74 textile and labor insurance enterprises, with an annual output of 15 million meters of canvas and 90 million pairs of labor protection gloves, accounting for more than 90% of the market share of the labour protection canvas gloves in Wuhan, and 40% of the similar products in the whole country in Hanzheng Street.


In Jiangbei Private Economic Industrial Park in Jianghan District, Wuhan, 23 garment enterprises realize 5 billion 200 million yuan of industrial gross output per year.

In the Wuhan Huangpi District Jia Hai City Industrial City, more than 480 small and medium-sized garment enterprises have an annual output value of 2 billion 400 million yuan.


With the rise of textile and garment industrial parks, Wuhan's textile and garment market has also developed rapidly.

Wuhan Hanzheng Street, friendship south road garment accessories market gathered more than 2000 merchants, annual sales of nearly 5 billion yuan.

With the relocation of the Hanzheng Street market, the textile market of 300 thousand square meters north of Hankou, Wuhan, has been born. This textile market can accommodate 4352 merchants and will gradually become the wholesale and logistics base of the textile and garment industry in Wuhan.


In December 14, 2011, the relevant departments in Wuhan disclosed that the Wuhan garment industry absorbed 400 thousand migrant workers, second only to the construction and catering industries.
