About ten years ago, Pakistan invested a lot of money in generating electricity through natural gas.

However, these natural gas plants are unable to meet the current demand for pport fuel and residential use.

Industrial natural gas shortage, about 30% of Pakistan's textile and garment manufacturers are facing a threat of closure.

In fact, the shortage of natural gas coupled with the high cost of thermal power has forced the textile industry to consider replacing their own power plant (CPPS) with solar power plants.

Although the cost of building solar plants is higher than that of natural gas plants, the cost of solar plants is lower than that of thermal power plants.

Using natural gas to generate electricity, the electricity cost per kilowatt hour is about 5 Pakistan rupee and the cost of electricity and electricity is 13 rupees.

In contrast, the cost of solar power is 8 rupees per kilowatt hour.

Mr. Ijaz Khokhar, chief coordinator of PRGMEA, Pakistan clothing and apparel manufacturers association, said that this is not a task that can be completed overnight. It may take 1-1.5 years to complete this goal.

In addition, the cost of building solar power plants is very high.

At present, they are seeking government support.
