Shandong Releases Clothing Industry Upgrading Plan, Fostering Its Own Brand To Pfer Excess Capacity

The Shandong Provincial Government Information Office recently held a press conference to introduce the pformation and upgrading of Shandong's textile and garment industry and the "2015 Shandong textile and clothing exhibition fair".

The Shandong textile and garment industry pformation and upgrading implementation plan was announced at the press conference.

Regarding the pformation and upgrading of the textile industry, the plan put forward the target. In 2017, the province's textile and garment industry achieved 1 trillion and 900 billion yuan of main business income, and the main business income in 2020 was 2 trillion and 780 billion yuan, an average annual increase of 13.5%.

In terms of industrial structure optimization, the plan is put forward.

The sales revenue of three types of final textiles, home textiles and industrial products, increased from 26% to 30% in 2017 and 35% in 2020.

In terms of brand advantage, the plan puts forward that China has more than 40 well-known trademarks, and has 10 influential enterprises.

Enterprises and strictly control new cotton spinning capacity, orderly pfer of excess capacity.

In terms of industrial concentration, the plan put forward that by 2017, the national industrial cluster reached 23, and the industrial cluster with annual sales income of more than ten billion reached 19, and the large enterprises with more than 10 billion main business income reached 8, of which more than 50 billion were 2.
