Department Of Consumer Goods Industry Attended The 4Th China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference

On September 21, 2020, the fourth China Textile intangible cultural heritage conference was held in Shenyang, with the theme of "boosting intangible cultural heritage consumption and creating a better life". The conference was jointly sponsored by China Textile Industry Federation and Shenyang propaganda department. More than 200 people from all over the country, including industry associations, universities, designers, cultural and creative enterprises, intangible cultural heritage workers and media reporters, attended the conference meeting. Relevant persons in charge of the consumer goods industry department of the Ministry of industry and information technology and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Department of the Ministry of culture and tourism attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

In 2017, the Ministry of culture and tourism, the Ministry of industry and information technology, and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the plan for the revitalization of traditional Chinese crafts, aiming to enhance the ability of inheritance and re creation of traditional crafts. Textile industry has more than 100 kinds of traditional crafts of spinning, weaving, dyeing and embroidery, which is an important part of intangible cultural heritage. China Textile intangible cultural heritage conference is an important brand activity to implement the revitalization plan of traditional technology, which has been held four times in a row. The conference summarized and exchanged the experience and achievements of textile intangible cultural heritage, and selected the Promotion Ambassador of China's textile intangible cultural heritage in 2020 and the ambassador of China's textile intangible cultural heritage communication. During the conference, the exhibition of textile intangible cultural heritage, the final of the first (Shenyang, China) cheongsam design competition in 2020 and the cheongsam design award were also held to guide and promote the integration of textile intangible cultural heritage into modern production and life.
