Pakistan Seeks Chinese Cooperation To Improve Its Cotton Production

According to Pakistan's "Observer" on November 10, ASIM said, former vice president of Pakistan cotton growers association (PCGA), said that cooperation with China in seed production and mechanized planting could be sought to help Pakistan achieve the improvement of cotton yield and quality. Pakistan has a low level of technology in cotton seed, mechanical planting and ginning, resulting in low yields. China Pakistan Trade Corridor has benefited from the continuous decrease of cotton production from Pakistan to China in recent months, although the cotton output of China Pakistan Economic Cooperation has been increasing.
