Lanxi: Improve the service level of the industry and promote the high-quality development of the cotton textile industry

Recently, Wang Yao and his delegation went to Lanxi to meet with Tong Yongsheng, Secretary General of Lanxi CPPCC, Liu Miaonan, Director of Lanxi Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and other leaders. They exchanged views on promoting the development of Lanxi cotton textile industry and improving the service level of the industry, and visited relevant key enterprises.

At present, a number of excellent enterprises have emerged in Lanxi in intelligent manufacturing, green low-carbon and product development. Local enterprises continue to increase investment in weaving intelligent equipment, improve the intelligent level of enterprises, and strive to build future factories; With the continuous deepening of the implementation of the national "double carbon" strategy, the concept of green and low-carbon production has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Lanxi's textile enterprises have accelerated the introduction of photovoltaic and other new energy partners, actively built an energy management system, and contributed wisdom and strength to achieve the goal of "carbon peak, carbon neutrality"; As a traditional cotton textile product concentration area, Lanxi's cotton textile enterprises are trying to jump out of the comfort zone, gradually increase the proportion of non cotton fibers, strengthen the development and innovation of differentiated products, and improve product competitiveness.

For the suggestions on promoting the high-quality development of the textile industry in Lanxi, Wang Yao said that first of all, we should continue to promote the digital transformation, further tap the enabling role of data elements on the textile industry, and provide continuous vitality for the industry; Secondly, we should promote green development and strive to build a textile green sustainable development system. Green sustainability is not only the internal demand of industrial development, but also the concrete embodiment of corporate social responsibility; Third, we should strengthen the innovation and development of differentiated products and open up new tracks; Fourth, we must strengthen the cultivation of talent team. The construction of a modern textile industry system must be guaranteed by talent. To cultivate high-quality textile talent team, we can rely on the support of industry organizations and relevant scientific research institutes to implement a multi-level and all-round talent training plan; Finally, we should adhere to the road of brand development, cultivate boutique brands, and strive to enhance the influence of Lanxi textile regional brands.

Xiajin County, Shandong Province: Improving the Regional Brand Benefits of Clusters

On February 21-22, Zheng Jiewen and his delegation went to Xiajin County, Shandong Province, to investigate the cotton textile industry cluster. Accompanied by Zhao Zhida, Deputy Secretary of Xiajin County Party Committee, County Chief and other leaders, they visited Renhe Textile, Tianrun Textile, Xinshi Textile and other cotton textile enterprises to exchange ideas on high-quality development of the cluster.

According to the survey, during the epidemic in the past year, relevant government departments provided "nanny" services for enterprises to ensure smooth transportation and logistics. Enterprises stuck to their positions to overcome difficulties together, and the industry remained basically stable. At present, cluster enterprises are basically producing at full capacity, and the overall production situation is good.

In recent years, the cotton textile industry in Xiajin County has taken improving product quality, continuous technical upgrading, accelerating digital transformation, and focusing on green development as the main direction to comprehensively promote high-quality development, and has achieved remarkable results. Next, further efforts will be made to cultivate the popularity and reputation of enterprises and improve the regional brand benefits of the cluster.

Henan: Stabilize the International Competitiveness of Cotton Textile Industry

From February 20 to 24, the research team of China Cotton Industry Association went to Henan Province for research, to understand the production and operation situation, difficulties and demands of the enterprise after the year, to study and judge the trend of the cotton textile industry in 2023, and listened to the suggestions of the enterprise.

The enterprises visited this time involve cotton spinning, weaving, knitting, home textile, clothing and other fields, covering more than 5 million spindles of spinning capacity, more than 5000 sets of weaving capacity, and producing products including pure cotton yarn, blended yarn, white cloth and other types.

In terms of commencement, In 2022, under the repeated impact of multiple unexpected factors such as epidemic situation and extreme weather, some enterprises will stop production periodically, and most enterprises will maintain normal operation. After the Spring Festival, the enterprises basically produced at full capacity, and a few enterprises stopped production of some machines due to factors such as funds, orders, equipment transformation and upgrading.

In terms of raw materials, Due to frequent fluctuations in cotton prices, enterprises basically purchase on demand, and cotton stocks are mostly within one month. For cotton textile enterprises, the cost of raw materials accounts for about 70% of the total cost of the enterprise. Therefore, the fluctuation of cotton prices has a great impact on the production and operation of enterprises. Most enterprises purchase cotton by using the Zheng Mian futures spot trading mode.

In terms of orders, the products of the visited enterprises are mainly pure cotton combed yarn and combed yarn. Downstream customers include knitting, home textile, clothing, etc. The orders are mainly for domestic sales, and the customer group is relatively stable. Some enterprises have placed orders in the middle and late March, and export orders have shrunk seriously. At present, the enterprise basically bases its production on sales, so the product inventory is not high, mostly within half a month. The enterprise said that after the domestic epidemic prevention and control entered a new stage, the market sales began to stabilize. After the Spring Festival, the market saw a small increase in the prices of yarn and cloth, and the profit was improved compared with years ago. After the Lantern Festival, the market recovered less than expected. But on the whole, enterprises are still full of confidence in the domestic consumer market this year.

In terms of employment, The employees of the enterprise are mainly local, the age structure is between 40-50 years old, the average wage of front-line workers is 4000-5000 yuan/month, and the stability of employees is high. Due to the high cost of electricity in Henan, which is basically between 0.7-0.8 yuan/kWh, and the electricity charge reaches nearly 1 yuan/kWh during peak hours, some enterprises choose to stop at peak hours to reduce production costs.

In recent years, China's cotton textile industry has faced an unprecedented complex environment due to adverse factors such as epidemic situation and Sino US trade friction. In order to stabilize the international competitiveness of China's cotton textile industry, the main suggestions of the enterprise are as follows: First, liberalize the quota quantity restrictions on imported cotton, and let the enterprise freely choose the trade mode to ease the operating difficulties of domestic cotton textile enterprises; 2、 Improve the difficulty and high cost of financing in the textile industry, support the development of automation, informatization and intelligent cotton textile, and boost the high-quality development of the cotton textile industry; 3、 Reduce electricity charges, reduce the burden of textile enterprises, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the textile industry.
