The List Of National Advanced Manufacturing Clusters Was Announced

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the List of National Advanced Manufacturing Clusters in 2024, with a total of 35 clusters on the list. It includes two textile and clothing clusters, namely, Hangzhou Bay modern textile and clothing cluster and Quanzhou modern sports product cluster. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China has made it clear that all provincial industrial and information competent departments should strengthen scientific planning, adhere to classified guidance and precise policy implementation, and increase policy support for national cluster construction; National level clusters should effectively organize and implement the cultivation and promotion plan, improve the comprehensive competitiveness, and promote the cluster to accelerate to the world level; Cluster development promotion organizations should continue to strengthen their own capacity building and improve their professional service capabilities. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will carry out monitoring and evaluation of the development level of national clusters, establish a mechanism for evaluating the comprehensive competitiveness of clusters and dynamic adjustment, and support the advantageous fields to take the lead in building a number of advanced manufacturing clusters with world influence.

The competent departments of industry and informatization in all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities specifically designated in the state plan, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

In order to implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, cultivate and expand advanced manufacturing clusters, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the 2024 Advanced Manufacturing Cluster Competition. After the review of group competition and comprehensive competition and public announcement, 35 clusters including Chengdu Deyang Mianyang Ziliang Aerospace Cluster are now announced as national advanced manufacturing clusters (hereinafter referred to as national clusters). Relevant matters are notified as follows.

1、 All provincial industrial and information departments should strengthen scientific planning, adhere to classified guidance and precise policy, increase policy support for the construction of national clusters, guide the convergence of technology, capital, talents and other innovative resource elements to clusters, and promote exchanges and cooperation between national clusters, national clusters and provincial clusters, Promote cross regional coordinated development and enhance regional industrial competitiveness.

2、 National level clusters should effectively organize and implement the cultivation and upgrading plan, formulate a roadmap for technological innovation and industrial development, clarify the key points of attracting capital and talents, and explore ways to strengthen collaborative innovation, improve advanced manufacturing capacity, cultivate high-quality enterprises, optimize industrial ecology, and improve the governance system to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of clusters, Promote the cluster to step up to the world-class level.

3、 The cluster development promotion organization should continue to strengthen its own capacity building, improve its professional service ability, promote the open cooperation and resource sharing of the cluster, organize cluster members to jointly establish the brand image of the cluster, promote the integration of industry resources, and enhance the cohesion, influence and competitiveness of the cluster.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will carry out monitoring and evaluation of the development level of national clusters, establish an evaluation and dynamic adjustment mechanism for the comprehensive competitiveness of clusters, support the advantageous fields to take the lead in building a number of advanced manufacturing clusters with world influence, and support the acceleration of new industrialization.
