Yangzhou Promotes The Transformation And Upgrading Of The Textile And Clothing Industry, And Many Measures Promote 3D Modeling+AI Intelligent Manufacturing
Several Measures of Yangzhou City to Promote the Transformation and Development of the Textile and Garment Industry was officially released recently, which clearly put forward the development goal of breaking through 350 enterprises above the designated size of the textile and garment industry and reaching 60 billion yuan of invoiced sales by 2027. The city will adopt 11 innovative measures to promote the traditional pillar industries to become high-end with a compound annual growth rate of 5.4%.
According to the plan, Yangzhou will focus on cultivating 7 billion yuan enterprise echelons, including 10 500 million yuan enterprises and 5 1 billion yuan enterprises, and simultaneously promote 60 enterprises to become national high-tech enterprises. According to the relevant person in charge of Yangzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the policy includes 9 fund incentives, of which 4 support measures, such as "3D modeling design subsidy" and "virtual sample clothing development subsidy", are innovative, and a single enterprise can receive a transformation incentive of up to 5 million yuan.
In terms of intelligent manufacturing upgrading, the document clearly lowered the threshold for declaration of intelligent transformation into digital transformation, and gave 15% subsidy for equipment investment to enterprises applying AI aided design system. According to the data, there are 305 enterprises above the designated size in Yangzhou textile and clothing industry. In 2024, the invoiced sales will be 52.29 billion yuan. The production capacity of down products, functional chemical fibers and other subdivisions will be among the top in the Yangtze River Delta. The new policy also proposes to build a digital design sharing platform. It plans to introduce more than 2000 industrial design talents within three years, and promote the proportion of independent brands to 35%.
