The latest employment data in August showed that the number of new jobs in the United States was zero, and the unemployment rate remained at 9.1%.

The US retail price of beef stuffed by the Bureau of labor statistics has climbed 17% this year. The average price in June was US $2.774 per pound, the highest level since 1984. In order to curb the further decline of steak prices, the United States reduced the supply of raw cattle.

The domestic high-end women's shoes are mostly made from American cowhide. Since the beginning of last year, the price surge of raw leather has brought great pressure to the leather industry in China.
One of the largest leather suppliers in the country, Xingyi leather, a person named Cai, said that the price of leather has risen to the highest level in nearly ten years.
"Last year, the price of leather has been rising. By the end of the year, a medium quality cowhide has been sold to $82, or 24%.
This year continues to rise, and now doubled compared with the beginning of the year.
Surnamed fan, head of the AOKANG Footwear Group, said that not only the shoe material, but also the polyurethane material used for the sole, from 21 thousand yuan per ton to 25 thousand yuan now, or nearly 20%, and the glue has nearly doubled.
In a short span of a year, tanneries have been continuously affected by the rising cost of raw materials, labor and manpower, of which the price of raw materials has accounted for more than 20%.
The price of new shoes is mostly "moisture".
A Fujian shoe factory owner, who does not want to be named, said that under the background of inflation, small shoe-makers often had no profit because of the high cost, while large brands could take advantage of higher prices to achieve higher profits.
"A pair of shoes, if the supply price is 100 yuan, then the retail terminal will sell at least four to five times the price."
Brand shoemakers also feel "suffering words". Now when new shoes are listed, they must cooperate with the discount sales promotion. Therefore, the retail price of new shoes is often mixed with a lot of "moisture".
Although the cost has been rising, the gross margin of women's shoes manufacturers is still at a high level.
The annual report released by BELLE international shows that the gross margin of footwear products of the group increased by 29.7% in 2010 to 68%, and the gross margin of BELLE group rose from 53.3% in 2009 to 55.7% in 2010.
On Saturday, the footwear industry's annual report also showed that the gross margin level of the company remained at around 50%.
