Mauritius And The United States Will Soon Review The Textiles Agreement.

The third country fabric Treaty (TCFT) is signed by Mauritius and the United States at the end of 11. The treaty will be reviewed in the near future. The US ambassador to Port Louis, Kaiser berneto cbrera, said on Tuesday.

Cabrera, who left the country at the end of the week, said that according to the third country fabric treaty, Mauritius got the treatment. Mauritius could make use of raw materials from third countries to make garments to export to the US market and help promote Mauritius's textile industry.

Cabrera said the US government is ready to promote Mauritius's products again.

"Despite the financial crisis, people will continue to buy shirts and trousers," he said.

Cabrera added that the Education Bureau of the United States Embassy will continue to support those who wish to study in the United States in Mauritius.

Cabrera revealed that the United States signed a "flexible agreement" with the African Seychelles islands to control military visitors, commercial and cruise ships in the Seychelles Islands.

The United States and Mauritius will soon sign such an agreement.
