The staff weighed, identified the quality, invoiced, registered and settled, and sorted the baskets, making the whole acquisition process in order.

This year, both the quality, output and purchase price of cocoons exceeded the level of the same period last year, bringing considerable benefits to mulberry farmers. Recently, at the cocoon acquisition point of Jinmengchong Sericulture Technology Service Center in Jintang Town, a continuous stream of silkworm farmers came to sell cocoons, and the scene was very lively. Screening, testing, weighing, settlement...... The staff strictly control the quality of each bag of cocoons to ensure the fairness of the transaction. In a short time, the cocoons in the acquisition station were piled up like a mountain, which was particularly eye-catching.

Li Zhenyou, a mulberry farmer in Pingzi Village Group of Lishu Village, Jintang Town, held the acceptance certificate of fresh cocoons after selling the fourth season cocoons, and his face was full of happy smiles. He said: "My family raised Siji silkworms this year, with a total of ten or so silkworms, earning nearly 30000 yuan, which is quite good." There are many silkworm farmers like Li Zhenyou in Qiaojia County, who have rich experience and technology in silkworm breeding. In addition, Qiaojia County implements the mode of small silkworm rearing together, which not only saves labor, investment costs and mulberry leaves, but also ensures the production and quality of cocoons, effectively solving the problem of small silkworm rearing in rural areas.

Yang Jiarong, manager of Jinmeng Chong Sericulture Technology Service Center, said that the cocoons purchased by Jintang Cocoon Station involved 684 sericulture households in 16 villages and towns of Jintang, Menggu, Lufang and Chongxi. This year, the climate conditions are good. A total of 3600 silkworms have been raised. The income of silkworm farmers is about 6.8 million yuan, with an average yield of 43 kg per unit area.

In order to ensure the quality of cocoon purchase and help sericulture farmers increase their income, Zhaotong Changjiang Silk Co., Ltd. sets a price for cocoon quality.
